Frank Nardelli

Frank Nardelli is originally from Plattsburgh, NY, and currently resides in Farmington Hills, Michigan with his wife and 2 daughters. Frank earned his B.S. in Education at the State University of New York College at Geneseo and his M.A. in Literacy Education at the University of Michigan. In 1997, Frank was part of the founding faculty for Dove Academy, a K-8 Public School Academy in Detroit, Michigan. He served the Dove Academy school community for 14 years as a Teacher, Assistant Principal and Principal. In 2009, with Frank as the Principal, Dove Academy became the first No Excuses University in Michigan. In August of 2011, Frank joined the staff of the Michigan Association of Public School Academies (MAPSA) as a Quality Schools Facilitator. In this position, Frank provided support for public charter schools, teachers and school leaders throughout the state of Michigan. From 2013-2017, Frank proudly served as the Vice President of NEU. Frank is currently the Planning Institute Program Manager for the Society for College and University Planning (SCUP). He is the author of the children’s books “We Love the Dove,” “After High School Comes College…” and “Stand Tall.”
