Laura D’Acquisto

Laura D’Acquisto is teacher at the No Excuses University at Los Pen. She is proud to be a part of the original staff that brought the NEU concept to life for the first time.  Laura earned her Bachelors Degree in Diversified Liberal Arts with an emphasis in Multi-Cultural Education from the University of San Diego and her Masters Degree in Educational Administration from National University.  During her more than 20 years of experience in education, she has taught grades three through five.  Laura serves on the Planning Committee and the Student Support Team at Los Pen, as well as many district committees.  She has been honored with many awards, including the Poway Unified School District Teacher of the Year.  Laura has been sharing strategies to help improve student engagement and academic success with educators across the country for more than ten years.  Laura lives with her husband and two children in Poway, California.
