Frank Nardelli is originally from Plattsburgh, NY, and currently resides in Farmington Hills, Michigan with his wife and 2 daughters. Frank earned his B.S. in Education at the State University of New York College at Geneseo. and his M.A. in Literacy Education at the University of Michigan. He is completing his research for his Ed. Specialist in Administration and Supervision at Wayne State University. In 1997, Frank was part of the founding faculty for Dove Academy, a K-8 Public School Academy in Detroit, Michigan. He served the Dove Academy school community for 14 years as a Teacher, Assistant Principal and Principal. In August of 2011, Frank joined the staff of the Michigan Association of Public School Academies (MAPSA) as a Quality Schools Facilitator. In this position, Frank provided support for public charter schools, teachers and school leaders throughout the state of Michigan. In 2009, with Frank as the Principal, Dove Academy became the first No Excuses University in Michigan and Frank started presenting at NEU Events. Frank now proudly serves as the Vice President of NEU. He is also honored to be the author of the children’s books “We Love the Dove,” “After High School Comes College…” and “Stand Tall.”
